Lake Kivu
Kivu Lake is considered one of the most beautiful in Central Africa. The lake is at 1450m high altitude and has a
size of 2,650 km².
Countless islands and formidable mountain ranges provide a spectacular
setting.
The border between the Democratic Congo Republic and Rwanda runs
straight through the lake, the western part belongs to Congo and the the
eastern Rwanda.

Lake Kivu
Der auf 1450m hoch gelegene, 2.650 km²
große Kivu See, gilt als einer der schönsten in Zentralafrika. Zahllose
Inseln und gewaltige Bergketten sorgen für eine spektakuläre Kulisse.
Die Grenze zwischen der demokratischen Republik Kongo und Ruanda verläuft mitten durch
den See, wobei der westliche Teil zu Kongo
und der östliche zu Ruanda
gehört.

Lake Kivu
El Lago Kivu es considerado uno de
las más bonitas de África central. El lago se encuentra a una altura de 1450m y
tiene un tamaño de 2.650 km².
Innumerables islas y enormes cordilleras montañosas proporcionan un
escenario espectacular.
La frontera entre la República Democrática del Congo y Ruanda corre
directamente a través del lago, la parte occidental pertenece a Congo y la del
este de Ruanda
